In light of the escalating humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, residents and displaced populations are facing a severe shortage of water as a large number of private water wells have stopped operating due to the complete electricity outage for more than two years and the absence of fuel required to operate generators. This situation has resulted in daily hardship for families, as many are forced to travel long distances to obtain water under extremely difficult health and humanitarian conditions.

In response to the urgent need, this project aims to provide **mobile solar power units** to operate private water wells across various areas of the Gaza Strip, ensuring the resumption of water pumping for residents and displaced communities, contributing to improved living conditions and reducing health risks associated with water shortages.

Project Concept

The project concept is based on equipping mobile solar power trailer that can be easily transported between water well sites according to humanitarian priorities. These units operate small water wells without the need for an electricity grid or fuel, allowing multiple wells to be operated daily according to a coordinated schedule that serves the largest possible number of beneficiaries.

Each mobile solar power unit is designed with an operating capacity ranging from "5 kW to 7 kW", equipped with solar panels and battery storage sufficient to operate private water pumps for appropriate daily operating hours. The system operates fully independently, with storage capacity that ensures continued operation for up to 2 days in the absence of sunlight.

Each mobile solar power unit contributes to:

- Restarting the operation of 2–3 water wells per day
- Providing water for thousands of residents and displaced people in surrounding areas
- Reducing reliance on generators and fuel
- Alleviating the physical and time burden on women and children

Expected Humanitarian Impact

Through the implementation of this project, the following will be achieved:

- Improved access to water in displacement areas and affected communities
- Reduced health risks associated with water shortages and inadequate hygiene services
- Enhanced human dignity and reduced daily suffering
-Provision of a clean and sustainable energy solution in a highly complex emergency environment

Your donation today means timely access to water, reduced hardship, and a more dignified life for thousands of families in Gaza.
